Some of what we do
We believe in sharing our faith in practical ways. Here are some of the things we do to provide, for our church family and help in our community.
We believe that prayer changes things and we would love to pray together.
Let us know what we can pray for you
This could be anything you are concerned about – like relationships, finances, worries, health, faith and anything else. Your information will only be used for personal prayer and handled appropriately. Please email any requests to: prayer@tillicoultrybaptist.org
With the conviction that ‘no one should go to bed hungry’ the Tilly Community Larder exists to reduce food poverty in Clackmannanshire.
The Larder operates on Friday afternoons 1:30 – 3:00pm with a cafe in the church. It is staffed by a team of volunteers from the church and community, and is generously supported by local businesses and community groups.
CAP Money is a simple, yet highly effective money management course that teaches people budgeting skills and will help anyone to get more in control of their finances, so they can save, give and prevent debt.
Tilly Baptist has partnered with Christians Against Poverty to offer CAP Money courses in our community. The service we offer is completely free.
Get in touch via the contact page to find out when the next course is running near to you.
This is a family event with bible stories, crafts, music and food.
This is a chance to explore the Christian faith and who Jesus is by discussion and eating a meal together. We run this every year in spring time.
Welcome to all men on the first Saturday of the month at 8:00 am at the church. Join us for a full cooked breakfast and good discussion and conversation.
We meet at the church every Monday between 2:15pm to 4:30pm during the darker months to play board games and chat. Bring along a game and join with others. All are welcome.
We meet on Thursday mornings at 10:30 at the start of the Devon Way, beside the Devonvale Hall. We walk and talk for about 40 minutes before going to Sterling Mills for a coffee and cake. All are welcome.
This is a quieter reflective evening service that happens on the first Sunday of each month.
We meet at the church on the second Saturday of the month at 10:00am and collect litter from around the village. Drinks available when you’ve had enough. Bags and pickers provided. All are welcome.
The church is involved in a wide range of events within the local community – Tillicoultry Community Week, Gala Day, Christmas Light Switch-On and many other community events during the year.
We also meet with the other churches in town at Easter, Christmas and other times, to celebrate together.
The church supports a number of individuals and organisations involved in local and international mission.
