Some of what we do
We believe in sharing our faith in practical ways. Here are some of the things we do to provide, for our church family and help in our community.
A member of our congregation felt ‘no one should go to bed hungry’ and from this idea, a group got together in 2020 to start to make this a reality. We opened that June and the Tilly Community Larder has been working together to reduce food poverty in Clackmannanshire. The Larder operates on Friday afternoons, between 1:30pm to 3:00pm with a cafe in the church. It is staffed by a team of volunteers from the church and community, and is generously supported by local businesses and community groups.
CAP Money is a simple, yet highly effective money management course that teaches people budgeting skills and a cash-based system that really works. This course will help anyone to get more in control of their finances, so they can save, give and prevent debt.
Tilly Baptist has partnered with Christians Against Poverty to offer CAP Money courses in our community. The service we offer is completely free.
Get in touch via the contact page to find out when the next course is running near to you.
Visit www.capmoney.org.uk to find out more about the course and to see where courses are running in other parts of the country.

We meet on Thursday mornings at 10:30 at the start of the Devon Way, beside the Devonvale Hall. We walk and talk for about 40 minutes before going to Sterling Mills for a coffee and cake. All are welcome.
Welcome to all men on the first Saturday of the month at 8:am at the church. Join us for a full cooked breakfast and good discussion and conversation.

This is a quieter reflective evening service that happens on the first Sunday of each month.
We meet at the church on the second Saturday of the month at 10:00am and collect litter from around the village. Drinks available when you’ve had enough. Bags and pickers provided. All are welcome.
We meet at the church every Monday between 2:15pm to 4:30pm to play board games and chat. Bring along a game and join with others. All are welcome.
The church is involved in a wide range of events within the local community.
For a number of years we have run an annual Community Quiz and started Tillicoultry Community Week. Community Week is a week in August, usually the last week of the school holidays, when there are around 50 free events for the local community, run by a wide range of groups and people. We are also involved in Tilly Gala Day on Father’s day and many other community events during the year.
We also meet with the other churches in town at Easter, Christmas and other times, to celebrate together.
We believe that prayer changes things and we would love to pray together.
This is a chance to explore the Christian faith and who Jesus is by looking at his story in the book of Mark. We last ran this in the autumn and plan on running it again.
The church supports a number of individuals and organisations involved in local and international mission.
